Hey all, I’m Emily, a local Parker Family Photographer. I am so excited that we’re FINALLY seeing some cooler temperatures. I don’t know about everyone else…but I am welcoming Fall here in Parker, Colorado with open arms. We have had so many 90 plus degree days in the Denver area this September and I am ready for the cool, dewy mornings, crunchy leaves and sweater weather!
My typical turnaround time is 4 weeks, but I was so hyped up on caffeine this week (the cold weather makes me stay in sweats all day and drink a LOT of hot homemade pumpkin spice coffee) that I shot and delivered this gallery all in the same week. I know, I don’t know who I am this week either.
The Session
The Hardin family is so much fun to capture. I actually captured a lifestyle session for them around two years ago when Addie was just 5, so it was pretty alarming to see how freaking tall she is now after not seeing them for two years. Addie is almost as tall as her mom already and she’s only in second grade (same age as my oldest).
I had such a great time chatting with the Hardins and catching up with their lives as of late as we captured their Family Photography session in Parker, Colorado. I spend quite a bit of time photographing my families at Seventeen Mile Farmhouse in Parker. It’s not one of those spectacular, jaw dropping Colorado-esque session locations, but it’s close to a lot of my clients’ homes and is really beautiful in the Fall for my half sessions. We saw at least three other family sessions happening, but somehow managed to dodge them and avoid anyone in the background their session.
