Grant and Madelyn chose one of my favorite Colorado wedding venues to-date for their gorgeous November wedding. The St. Vrain has it all on-site. It is located in beautiful old-town Longmont with lots of really unique photo opportunities – lots of fun old brick buildings with interest – including the venue itself. The St. Vrain has a stunning ceremony area with a wooden industrial-style ceiling adorned with gorgeous sparkling chandeliers and an exposed-brick backdrop. This venue really doesn’t need much in the way of decor, it is stunning all by itself honestly.
Downstairs features two getting ready suites – one for the bride, and one for the groom and for once, the groom’s getting ready area actually has GOOD lighting. Thank you, St. Vrain for not throwing the guys in a dark ugly dungeon. You guys have really outdone yourselves and us photographers appreciate the two well-lit getting ready spaces.
The venue even has an adorable room between the bridal and groom suites specially made for first looks – I loved that it has the most beautiful antique-style green sofa and is tucked away from guests who might be arriving early – this helps to keep the first look more private and intimate for the bride and groom which is so important!
If you are recently engaged and searching for a lovely wedding venue near Denver that has an industrial-feel, look no further. The St.Vrain can accommodate up to 250 guests and you don’t have to leave the venue for anything – it’s all conveniently located in one building- and there’s even an outdoor patio area for cocktail hour and yard games!
